Grace Irene Blankenburg
Grace Irene Blankenburg of Benson, AZ, died Sunday, May 21 1995 in Benson. She was 87. A memorial service was held at the First Baptist Church in St. David, AZ. Arrangements were handled by Richardson's Benson Mortuary.
Mrs. Blankenburg was born to William and Cora Tucker May 17, 1918 in Plymouth County, Iowa. Before moving to Benson, Mrs. Blankenburg lived in Akron. She lived in Benson for the last 38 years. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Blankenburg was a member of the First Baptist Church in Benson.
Mrs. Blankenburg is survived by her son and his wife Marsha Blankenburg of Mesa; two daughters Marian Schilling of St. David and Donna and her husband, Lee Rolfes of Benson; two brothers, Robert and his wife, Harriet Tucker and Ellis Tucker, both of Akron; three sisters, Ruby Brown, Dorothy and her husband, Arden Brown and Virginia and her husband, Hugh (Barney) Swift all of Akron; one sister-in-law, Jean Tucker of Florence, AL; eight grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

Akron, IowaPrivate burial service held for Blankenburgs A private burial service for Bill and Grace Blankenburg was held Sunday, July 10 at Riverside Cemetery, Akron.
Mr. Blankenburg died Jan. 11, 1995, and Mrs. Blankenburg died May 21, 1995. The couple had lived in Benson, Ariz., since moving from Akron in the mid-1950s.
