William Blankenburg
William "Bill" Blankenburg, 85; of Benson, Ariz., formerly of Akron, died Wednesday, Jan. 11, 1995 at a Benson hospital.
Mr. Blankenburg was born April 11, 1909 in Merrill, son of Edward and Stella Blankenburg. He lived in Benson 37 years, having moved there from Akron. He was a fireman in civil service at Fort Huachuca for 20 years.
Mr. Blankenburg is survived by his wife, Grace (nee Tucker) of Benson; a son, James and his wife, Marsha Blankenburg of Mesa; and two daughters, Marian Schilling of St. David, Ariz., and Donna and her husband Lee Rolfes of Benson; eight grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
No services are planned and the body will be cremated.

Akron, IowaPrivate burial service held for Blankenburgs A private burial service for Bill and Grace Blankenburg was held Sunday, July 10 at Riverside Cemetery, Akron.
Mr. Blankenburg died Jan. 11, 1995, and Mrs. Blankenburg died May 21, 1995. The couple had lived in Benson, Ariz., since moving from Akron in the mid-1950s.

Marcene Heeren, and Bob and Susan Brown, all of Akron; Larry and Rose Brown of Omaha. Neb.: Carol Brown of Corvallls, Ore,; and Rich, Kristi, and Courtney Brown of Sioux City.
