Schuette, Edna Minnie 1910 - 1970

Mrs. Ernest (Edna Minnie) Schuette, 59, longtime Craig resident, died at her home Wednesday, January 21, after an illness of several years.

Edna Eggebrecht was born July 31,1910, in Craig a daughter of the late Herman and Minnie (Ladwig) Eggebrecht. Her marriage to Mr. Schuette took place December 30, 1944, in Craig. The couple since resided in that vicinity.

Funeral services was Saturday at 2 p.m. at St. John Lutheran church, Craig. Rev. Orval Friedrich officiated and burial was in St. John cemetery at Craig.

Survivors are her husband, Ernest, Craig; four daughters, Mrs. Merlyn (LaVonne) Miller,; Mrs. Larry (La-Donna) Olfmanns, Craig; Mrs. Wilbur (Jerlois) Renken, Le Mars and Mrs. Roger (Joyce) Lunstra, Sioux Falls; two sons, Lou Dell, Craig, and Wayne, in the armed service; eleven grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Clara Hutton, Craig; Mrs. Fred Ludwigs, Le Mars, and Mrs. Mildred Beeck, Adrian, Minn., and a brother, Ervin Eggebrecht, Le Mars.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Harm Klave and two brothers Harold and Herman.

Mrs. Schuette was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Craig.
