Mrs. Hans Sonnichsen. Mrs. Hans Sonnichsen, 89, of Remsen, died Monday (Dec. 10, 1979) at Floyd valley hospital in Le Mars.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Christ Lutheran Church at Remsen. Rev. Allan Brutlag of May City will officiate. Burial will be in the Remsen city cemetery under direction of Moeller funeral home. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m.
Mrs. Sonnichsen, the former Anna Kroeger, was born April 13, 1890, on a farm east of Remsen. She moved into Remsen with her parents in 1914.
She was married Sept. 28, 1924, in Remsen. They celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary this year.
She was a member of Christ Lutheran church and its ladies aid.
Survivors are her husband; one son, Leonard of Remsen; one daughter, Mrs. Herman (Della) Kluver of Remsen; 10 grandchildren,; and 3 great-grandchildren. – family news clipping
