KATHERINE TSITOURAS

Katherine Tsitouras, 87, Plymouth County native and longtime Akron area resident, died Wednesday (April 17, 1985) at a Cedar Rapids hospital after a brief illness.

Memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Plymouth Presbyterian Church with Rev. Hatty Duncan officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Tsitouras was born Nov. 20, 1898, to John and Ellen Johnson in Plymouth County. She married Gust Tsitouras Oct. 10, 1920, and lived most of her life on a farm near Akron. Her retirement years were at Meth-Wick Manor, Cedar Rapids.

Survivors are three children, Mrs. Eldon (Penelope) Bryant, Akron; John, of Las Vegas; and Mrs. Whealen (Joann) Koontz, Cedar Rapids; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
