Mr. and Mrs. Richard A. Meyer, residing on a farm northeast of here mourn the loss of their three months old daughter, Margaret, who passed away at noon Sunday, following a very brief illness with acute indigestion. The little girl was taken ill at about six o’clock in the morning and although medical aid was summoned at once, she died after six hour of suffering. The funeral was held in Remsen Tuesday, with services in St. Paul’s church by Rev. E. H. Eilers. The little on is survived in the immediate family, only by her parents, two other children having preceded her in death at very early ages, and the bereaved parents have the united sympathy of their hosts of friends. – Le Mars Semi-Weekly Sentinel, June 11, 1918, page 2.
