Mrs. Maurice Erickson

Mrs. Maurice Erickson, 87, Akron, died Sunday (Dec. 10, 1978) at the Akron hospital after a lengthy illness.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Schroeder funeral home. Rev. Dwight Bonham will officiate. Burial will be in Richland cemetery near Richland, S.D.

Mrs. Erickson, the former Ethel Blanche Lyons was born March 2, 1891, in Leeds.

She married Benjamin Tucker June 19, 1911, in Westfield. He died in 1918. She married Maurice Erickson March 13,1921, in Richland. He died in 1961.

She was a former member of the Richland Methodist church.

Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Eldean (Helen) [Tucker] Swoyer of Akron and Mrs. Harold. (Gladys) [Tucker] Fornia of McCook Lake, S.D. ; a son, Clifford [Erickson]of Green Bay, Wis.; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
