CRAIG RESIDENT DIES
Mrs. Jack Ames Succumbs To Infirmities of Age

Mrs. Elizabeth Ames, wife of John Ames, resident of Plymouth county, died at
her home near Craig Tuesday, March 28, after an illness due to infirmities
of age. She had been seriously ill the past few months. She was about 78
years old.

Mrs. Ames was left an orphan at an early age and was brought up by a family
named Babson. She was married to John Ames and they farmed near Craig for
the past thirty years. She leaves her husband to mourn her death.

Mrs. Ames was highly regarded in the community and was liked and respected
in a large circle of friends and acquaintances.

The funeral was held in St. Joseph Catholic church in Struble Wednesday,
Rev. J. B. Greteman, the pastor, officiating and the interment made in the
Struble cemetery.
