Mrs. Roy Hansen, 52, of Remsen died early Friday morning (July 14, 1978) at a Sioux City hospital. She had been ill a year.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday in St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran church at Remsen. The Rev. Karlton Wagner will officiate. Burial will be in the Remsen City cemetery under the direction of the Moeller Funeral home.
Mrs. Hansen, the former Evelyn Elaine Christensen, was born Dec. 17, 1925, near Moville. She was married to Harold Christman. He died.
They farmed for 12 years southeast of Remsen. Mr. Hansen died Nov. 9, 1973.
Survivors include a son, Craig Christman of Le Mars; four daughters, Miss Beverly Christman of Sioux City, Mrs. James (Carol) Bligh of Dakota City and Miss Elaine and Miss Sharon Hansen, both of Remsen; a sister, Mrs. Ed (Mildred) Meyers of Sioux City; and a brother, Homer of Glendale, Calif. – Le Mars Daily Sentinel, July 17, 1978, page 8.
