Funeral services for Mrs. Tina Spiecker, 73, who died in Topeka, Kans., Tuesday, were held at Christ Lutheran church Remsen, Sunday afternoon at 3 o’clock. The Rev. Alfred Christiansen, pastor, conducted the services.
Mrs. Spiecker, well known former Remsen woman who in recent years made her home with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. C.C. Kilker in Topeka, had been sick but three days.
Surviving her are two daughters, Mrs. Kilker and Miss Alma Spiecker of Manhattan, Kans. There are two grandchildren, Wallace and Karen Kilker.
The body arrived Friday night and a wake was held Saturday night at Moeller funeral home which had charge of arrangements. – Le Mars Globe Post, June 14, 1954, page 10.
