William S. Feuerhelm, of Merrill, a lifelong Plymouth County resident, died in a tractor accident Monday, November 2, 1987, in rural Merrill. He was a retired farmer.

His funeral was held on Thursday, November 5 at 1:30 p.m. at the Adaville United Methodist Church, rural Merrill. Rev. Bob Davis officiated and burial was in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery, rural Merrill.

He was born October 8, 1913 in Stanton Township, Plymouth County, to Solomon and Bertha Draheim Feuerhelm. He married Grace Tindall June 6, 1945 at Adaville.

He was a member of the Adaville United Methodist Church and farmed in Johnson Township since 1940. He was a member of the Farm Bureau and a director of the Pleasant Valley Cemetery Association.

He is survived by his wife, Grace Feuerhelm, of Merrill; a son, Alan, and his wife, Carol Feuerhelm, of LeMars; a daughter, Carolyn, and her husband, Raymond Smith, of Addison, Ill.; five grandchildren; three brothers, Kasper, Lloyd and John Feuerhelm, all of Merrill.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
