Albert M. [A.] Schmitz, well known farmer and corn grower, who lived two miles west of Remsen on Highway No. 3 died Wednesday afternoon in Sacred Heart hospital of tetanus. Mr. Schmitz stepped on a nail Wednesday of last week but did not think the injury serious until Monday when symptoms of lockjaw developed and he was brought to the hospital.
