Life’s End. EFFORD B. MOSER DIES AT AGE 66. Was Lifetime Resident of Plymouth County.
Efford B. Moser, 66, a Le Mars resident since 1957, died this morning at Sacred Heart hospital where he had been a patient since Sunday. He had been in declining health in recent months, but his condition had become serious only in the past week.
Funeral arrangements are pending, awaiting word from members of the family residing at a distance. Mauer funeral home will have charge.
Mr. Moser was born Sept. 2, 1892 at Remsen, and was a lifelong resident of this county. His marriage to Elsa Thode took place at Remsen on Feb. 5, 1919. They farmed in this area until moving to Le Mars.
Mr. Moser is survived by his widow and two daughters, Mrs. Audrey Lage of Waterloo, Iowa, and Mrs. Dorothy Cambier of Shenandoah, Iowa, and three grandchildren: Scotty Lage and Ellen and David Cambier.
Also surviving are two brothers, Ernest Moser of Pine River, Minn., and Lou Moser, Newberg, Ore., and two sisters, Mrs. Charles Dornbusch, Milbank, S.D., and Mrs. Andrew B. Juhl, Le Mars. – Le Mars Daily Sentinel, Feb. 12, 1959, page 1.
