Walter William Witt, 79, Remsen, died unexpectedly Saturday, Sept. 6, 1975 of a heart attack in an ambulance en route to Floyd Valley hospital in Le Mars.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran church, Remsen, with Rev. Tom Renquist officiating.
Burial will be in the Remsen cemetery with the Moeller funeral home, Remsen, in charge.
Mr. Witt was born June 11, 1896, north of Remsen. He farmed for 50 years with his brother. They moved into Remsen four years ago.
Survivors are his brother, Adolph, and a number of nieces and nephews. – Le Mars Daily Sentinel, September 8, 1975, page 6.
