Mrs. William Krause

Mrs. William Krause, 77, Akron, died unexpectedly Tuesday (January 1, 1980) at her home at rural Akron.

Services were held at 10:30 Friday in Trinity Lutheran Church in Akron. The Rev. Marvin Mueller officiated. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery under direction of the Schroeder funeral home. A prayer service was held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.

Pallbearers were Lee Harris, Ernest Lucken, Harold Campbell, Gaynor Harris, Arval Jurgensen, and Gary Russell.

Mrs. Krause, the former Emilie Pansegrau, was born Dec. 15, 1902, in Novograd, Russia. She was married Feb. 8, 1922, at Ponca, Neb. The couple farmed in the Ponca area until 1944 when they moved to Akron. Mr. Krause died March 15, 1952.

Survivors include four sons, Wally of Seattle, Wash., Dr. Arnold of Casper, Wyo., and Gerald and Henry, both of Akron; a brother Emil of Gladbrook, and eight grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Aletha and a son, Ervin, Nov. 26, 1970.
