Elmer L. Herman

Elmer L. Herman, 70, Burke, S.D., died Feb. 9 at a Burke, S.D., hospital.
Funeral services were held Feb. 12 at the Clausen's chapel and with Mrs.
Audrey Friesen officiating. Burial was in Lucas cemetery.

Mr. Herman was born April 13, 1892, at Adaville, Iowa.

Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Iva King of Burke, Mrs. Emily Delaney of
Manteca, Calif., and Mrs. Eva Sagehorn of Overland Park, Kan.; three sons,
Leslie of Fairfax, S.D., Wesley of Rock Rapids, Verdis of Redfield, S.D.;
two brothers, Harvey and Lester, both of Merrill, 16 grandchildren and 17
great-grandchildren.
