Frank Utesch

Frank Utesch, 90, Le Mars, a Plymouth county native and lifelong resident, died Friday, Oct. 26, 1990 at the Abbey in Le Mars after an extended illness.

Services were held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. John's American Lutheran Church in Le Mars with Rev. David Kramer officiating. Burial was in Le Mars Memorial Cemetery under direction of Mauer- Johnson Funeral Home in Le Mars.

Mr. Utesch was born Sept. 28, 1900, in Plymouth county to Charles and Minnie Jans Utesch. He married Ella Bertha Wetrosky Dec. 29, 1919 at Huron, S.D. He farmed all his life in Plymouth county, moving into Le Mars in 1963. He was a member of St. John's American Lutheran Church.

Survivors are two sons, Kenneth and his wife, Esther and Norman and his wife, Ellen, all of Le Mars; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and a sister, Leona Witt of Hawarden.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Ella on Aug. 23, 1989. and a brother. Elmer.
