Mrs. Ed Thomarson Died Thursday

Had Lived In California For Years

Mrs. Ed Thomarson, former Le Mars resident, died Thursday, Sept. 16, in a Santa Monica, Calif., nursing home where she had lived for several years.

Margaret Weddell was born at Newcastle on Tyne, Scotland, February 18, 1863, and grew to womanhood there. On April 28, 1885, she was married to E. A. Thomarson, for many years a well-known Plymouth county farmer and business man and they spent their entire married life in this county. Mr. Thomarson died April 27, 1936, in Le Mars and a few years later Mrs. Thomarson made her home in California.

Her body is being brought back to Le Mars for burial beside that of her husband in Le Mars city cemetery. Funeral services at the Mauer Funeral Home at 2:30 p. m., Monday, Sept 20, will be conducted by Rev. G. O. Thompson.

Mrs. Thomarson is survived by two nieces who live in England.
