Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Trinity Lutheran church, six miles south of Marcus, for Mrs. Augusta Jahr, oldest resident of Marcus, who passed away Saturday evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Henry Baumann, after a brief illness.
