Peter Killoran Served In New York Regiment During Civil War

Peter Killoran, a civil war veteran, died at his home in Moville.[March 27, 1922] He had farmed near there for nearly forty years. He was a native of Sligo, Ireland and came to America in 1860 volunteered in New York and fought through the Civil war. In the seventies he came to Dubuque and then to Le Mars, near where he homesteaded and then bought a farm in Woodbury county. He is survived by three sons and a daughter.

The funeral services were held on Tuesday morning at St. Michael's church in Kingsley.
