Daniel Tooker an old soldier died at his home on Front street on Monday afternoon at four o'clock after a n illness of nearly a year, nearly all of which was more or less a blank to him .

times . He was about seventy two years of age and leaves a widow and two sons and two brothers and a sister living. He was not a member of Mower Post and none of the old soldiers know what regiment he was in. The funeral was held today, Wednesday, at 10 o'clock from the home, Rev, J, J. Lace pastor of the M. E. church conducting the service. Members of Mower Post took part in the services.

John Draudt has been his guardian for about ten years .
