Mrs. John Skogsberg, 90, 1423 Judd St., Sioux City, died Saturday, Sept. 7, 1974, at a Sioux City hospital after a short illness.

Mrs. Skogsberg, the former Susie M. Steessy, was born July 15, 1884, in Plymouth County.

She was married Oct. 12, 1908, in Sioux City. Mr. Skogsberg died Aug. 6, 1962, in Sioux City.

Mr. and Mrs. Skogsberg farmed in Lyman County, S.D., for 16 years before moving to Sioux City 14 years ago.

Survivors are a son, Neil C., of Calder, Idaho; three daughters, Mrs. Ralph (Edith) Taylor of Sioux City, Mrs. Raymond (Violet) House of Slayton, Minn., and Mrs. Oscar (Anne) Torness of Milbank, S.D.; 17 grandchildren, and 39 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Meyer Bros. Colonial Chapel, 3220 Stone Park Blvd., Sioux City. Rev. Willard Galloway of Westlawn Presbyterian Church will officiate. Burial will be in Graceland Park Cemetery.
