ERNEST EPPLING
KINGSLEY, Ia.—Special: Services for Ernest Eppling, 76, of Kingsley, Ia., who died in a LeMars hospital Thursday, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the First Lutheran Church in Kingsley with Rev. Walter Resner officiating. Burial will be in Kingsley cemetery.

Mr. Eppling was born June 16, 1888, in Williston, O., and moved at an early age with his family to a farm west of Kingsley where he lived until his retirement in 1959. He married Lucy Higginbotham at Remsen, May 28, 1932. Mr. Eppling was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Kingsley.

He is survived by the widow; two step children, Arthur Haggin of Moville, Ia., and Gorden Haggin, Jr., of Eugene, Ore.; six brothers, Walter of Washington, Robert of Remsen, Ia., Otto, Herman, August and Raymond of Kingsley, Ia.; one halfbrother, Julius Eppling of Hinton, Ia.; three step grandchildren and five step great grandchildren. The body was taken to Dickinson Michaelson funeral home of Kingsley.

NOTE: Per SSDI the date of death is SEP 1963.
