Life's end

HELEN SIEVERS, 91, WAS FORMER REMSEN RESIDENT

Helen L. Sievers, 91. Estherville, formerly of Remsen, died Friday at University of Iowa hospitals, Iowa City, after an illness of six weeks.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Emmanuel Lutheran church, Estherville, and at 3 p.m. at Christ Lutheran church, Remsen.

Rev. Alfred Christiansen of Remsen will officiate at Remsen. Burial will be in Remsen cemetery.

Miss Sievers worked at the Kass store in Remsen for nearly 30 years and later sold insurance for Mutual of New York.

Her survivors are nieces and nephews, Mrs. J. R. Dew, Waverly; William D. Sievers, Le Mars; Linden Sievers, D.D.S., Fallbrook, Calif.; Raymond Sievers, D.D.S., Redmond, Wash.; Virginia Sievers, Victorville, Calif.; Mrs. Ralph Hallingsworth, San Pedro, Calif.; Robert Sievers, D.D.S., Burbank, Calif.; and Clair H. Post, D.D.S., Mitchell, S.D.
