On Thursday evening occurred the death of Mrs. Christianson (sic Christensen), mother of Wm. Christensen and Mrs. George Hummel. She has been living in one of the Doyle buildings and has been ill for several days. The funeral was held at the church at one o'clock, by Rev. Volck, of Akron, and burial made in the Adaville cemetery.

Transcriber Note: Per the 1905 Iowa State Census, Sophia Christensen was in the household during that year with her husband, Anders Christensen, and their son, Will Christensen.
