Christina Blecker who resided at 531 3rd Ave. S. W. in Le Mars, passed away at the Plymouth County Home on October 23, 1956, following a several months sickness. She was 80 years and 11 months of age.

Miss Blecker was born November 23, 1875, in Ponca. Nebraska. She resided in the Le Mars vicinity for over 60 years. She was a retired domestic worker.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P. M. Friday. October 26 at the Mauer Funeral Home with burial in the Melbourne Cemetery near Hinton. under direction of the Mauer Funeral Home. Rev. K. I. Clawson will officiate.

Survivors include a sister. Mrs. Katherine Spies of near Merrill and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased was a member of the Calvary E. U. B. Church in Le Mars.

Mrs. Katherine Spies’ Sister Died at Le Mars

Mrs. Katherine Spies’ sister, Miss Christina Blecker, 80, passed away at the Sacred Heart hospital in Le Mars on Tuesday.

Mrs. Spies is the only near survivor.

The funeral was held Friday from the Mauer Funeral Home. Rev. K. I. Claws officiated and burial was in the Melbourne Cemetery near Merrill.
