Phillip Winter

Phillip Winter of Sioux City passed away in a hospital there following a sickness which lasted several weeks. He was a retired longtime Plymouth county farmer.

Mr. Winter was born August 21, 1867 on a farm near Hinton: He was married to Mary Bender in February, 1894.

Funeral services were held today, Thursday, January 10, at 1:30 P. M. at the Winter Funeral Home in Sioux City. Rev. M. L. Straube of Le Mars officiated and burial was in Melbourne Cemetery near Hinton.

Survivors include a son, Rudolph, of Sioux City and a sister, Mrs. Mary Newton, Lincoln, Nebraska. Also a grandson and three great grandchildren.

Deceased was a member of St. John's Lutheran church in Le Mars.
