John H. Roehrich, 62, Hinton, was dead on arrival at Floyd Valley hospital. Sunday morning. He was stricken at his home and the Hinton rescue unit brought him to the Le Mars hospital.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Hinton United Methodist Church with Rev. Waldon Paige officiating,
Burial will be in Melbourne Cemetery, rural Merrill under direction of the Luken-Johnson funeral home in Le Mars.
Mr. Roehrich, a machinist, was a lifelong Plymouth County resident. His parents were the late Charles and Katherine (Wilkens) Roerich. His marriage to Lilas Bogenrief took place April 23.1938, at Elk Point. She died in 1962.
A prayer service will be held at 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Survivors are three daughters, Mary Roerich, Sioux City; Mrs.. Douglas (Lilas) Hoffman, Le Mars; Joyce Roerich, Hinton; six brothers, Fritz, Charles, Richard, Henry and Walter, all of Hinton and George of Phoenix. A sister, Emma Roerich, Hinton and a grandson.
He was preceded In death by his parents; his wife and two sisters.
