Mrs. Sievers Is A Victim Of Asian Flu

Mrs. William D. Sievers, 40, lifelong resident of the Remsen community died at Remsen Saturday. The attending physician said Asian was the cause of death.

Mrs Sievers was born on a farm south of Remsen. She was married February 44, 1945, to William D. Sievers. The couple operated a dray line in Remsen for a number of years and in March 1956, look over a shoe store in Marcus.

The couple resided in Remsen with his father. William G. Sievers.

Survivors besides the widower, William are the mother, Mrs. Anna Holler of Remsen: a brother, Henry, Remsen farmer: two sisters Mrs. Ray Geringer of Marcus and Mrs. Everett Groenhagen of Le Mars.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Christ Lutheran church.

Rev. Alfred Christiansen will officiate. Burial will be in the Remsen City cemetery under direction of the Moeller funeral home.
