Pearl Francis Robbins, 94, of Laurie, Mo., passed away Saturday evening, May 12, 2007, at the Laurie Care Center. She was born Feb. 17, 1913, near Akron, Iowa, daughter of the late August Gotfred and Bertha Theresia Olson Erikson.

She was united in marriage Sept. 6, 1934, with Marion James Robbins, who preceded her in death Feb. 13, 1996.

Mrs. Robbins was a member of Kent Memorial Lutheran Church in Sunrise Beach, Mo., WELCA, Order of the Eastern Star, and life member and past queen of the Daughters of the Nile.

She is survived by one son, James A. Robbins and wife, Susan, of Erlanger, Ky.; one daughter, Janice Kennedy and husband, James, of Sunrise Beach; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and many other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Gene A. Robbins; two brothers, Ted and Vance Erickson; and four sisters, Valda McGarry, Grace Buehre, Ruth Cole and Bertha Crandall.

Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m., Thursday, May 17, at Kent Memorial Lutheran Church in Sunrise Beach, with Rev. Dave Beese officiating.

Graveside services and interment will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 19, at Pleasant Valley Cemetery near Akron, Iowa, with Rev. Roger Kurtenbach officiating.

The family will receive friends from 10:30-11:30 a.m., Thursday at the church.
