DEATH SUMMONS E. J. MCDOUGALL

Last Rites Are Held Monday Afternoon For Westfield Man

Funeral services for Edward J. McDougall, 84, who died early Saturday morning at an Akron hospital after a short illness, were held at 1 p. m. Monday at the Westfield Congregational church, Rev. Chester Guinn officiating. Burial was in the Adaville cemetery.

Mr. McDougall was born September 27, 1877, in Le Mars, Ia., and grew to young manhood in that vicinity. He married Lydia Lawrence February 25, 1908. He farmed near Merrill for several years and then moved to the Westfield area in 1918. In 1943 he took employment in Sioux City, returning to Westfield after retirement.

Survivors include the widow and six children, Mrs. Gilberta Olson and Mrs. Dorothy Lease, both of Sioux City; Mrs. Viola Lilly and Mrs. Martha Burke, both of Sergeant Bluff and Donald of Tucson, Ariz.
