A long-time and respected resident of Westfield community, Mrs. Edward McDougall, passed away at her home there Sunday, June 25, aged 78 years, 6 months and 26, aged 78 years, 6 months and

Mrs. McDougall was born December 14, 1887. She was married to Edward McDougall on February 25, 1908, and four daughters and two sons came to bless their union.

Her husband preceded her in death in 1961. They lived on a farm for many years before she retired and moved to Westfield.

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Myron Olson and Mrs. Dorothy Lease of Sioux City; Mrs. Bard Lilly and Mrs. Ronald Burke of Westfield; two sons, Donald of Tucson. Ariz., and Robert of Sergeant Bluff, Iowa; four brothers, Will of Westfield; Burt of Elk Point; Donald and Ray of Wibau, Mont.; three sisters, Mrs. Bill Lawrence and Mrs. Francis Annis of North Sioux City, S. D., and Mrs. Cecil Hauser of Wilmington, Calif.; 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Wednesday forenoon at the Westfield Congregational church, Rev. David J. Roy, of Akron, officiating. Mr. John Lease was soloist and Mrs. John Lease was pianist. Casket bearers were Len Buryanek, James Buryanek, Paul Lease, Robert Sargent, Thomas Adkins and Russell Olson. Interment was in the Adaville E.U.B. cemetery.
