Funeral services for John Boone 59, resident here for the last 5 years who died at his home Thursday, were 2 p. m. Saturday at the. Mauer funeral home. Rev. H. F. Tegtmeier officiated. Burial was in Eastlawn cemetery .at Sheldon, la.

Mr. Boone was born February 7, 1900, at Hospers, la. He lived at Sheldon before coming to Le Mars.

Survivors include the widow, Minnie; a stepson, Norville Baack of Iowa City, la.; six brothers and two sisters.

Mr Boone was an employee, as maintenance man at the Aalfs-Baker overall factory but had not been at work for several days. He was to undergo an examination at Cherokee.

Plymouth county coroner S. H. Luken said death was due to anoxia, caused by carbon monoxide inhalation.

Mr. Boone was married to Minnie Baack on September 22,1936 at Avon, South Dakota.

Other survivors include two granddaughters, Barbara and Debra Baack both of Sioux City, his sisters; Mrs. Nick Brink of Brooten, Minnesota and Mrs. Henry Brink of Le Mars; six brothers, Andrew E; Edward E. and Ed J. all of Sheldon; Gerritt E. of Sanborn and Tony E. of Hospers and Ben E of Maurice.
