Mrs. Minnie Julia Boone, 62, who had lived in Plymouth county since childhood, died Friday at Floyd Valley after being admitted a day earlier. She had had an illness of many years.
Minnie J. Baack was born June 15,1907, in Hawarden and came here as a child. Her mother. Mrs. Marie Baack, lives in Le Mars. Her father preceded her in death. Her marriage to John E. Boone took place Sept. 22, 1936 in Dakota City. He preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held at 2 p. m. Monday at St. John American Lutheran church in Le Mars with Rev. Arnold Imbrock and Rev. Paul Tobiason officiating. Burial was in Eastlawn cemetery, Sheldon, under direction of the Mauer funeral home.
Survivors are her mother; a son, Norville F. (Pete) Baack, New Ulm, Minn.; four sisters, Mrs. Marie (Lee) Wiltgen, Remsen; Mrs. Roger H. (Helen) Jordan, Wheaton, Illinois; Mrs. Raymond (Sophie) Bush, Le Mars; Mrs. James (Leona) Pike, California, and a brother, Louis Baack, Oskaloosa and four grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Harry and William.
