Carolyn J. Tindall, Sioux City, died Saturday, Dec. 24, 1988 in a Sioux City care center after a long illness.
Services were held Wednesday in First Lutheran church in Sioux City. Rev. Elwood Riecke and Rev. Robert Vaage officiated. Burial was in Pleasant Valley Cemetery at Adaville, under direction of Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel.
Mrs. Tindall, the former Carolyn J. Jabs was born July 14, 1918 in Buffalo, N.Y. She attended schools in Waterbury, Conn., including Post College. She married Robert Tindall Aug. 16, 1965, in St. Louis, Mo. She lived most of her life in St. Louis. She worked for Volkswagon of America as an accountant in Sarasota, Fla., and later was a self-employed accountant. She had lived in Sioux City since 1984.
Mrs. Tindall was a member of First Lutheran church in Sioux City. She served in the U.S. Marine Corp during World War II.
Survivors include her husband, Robert; two brothers and two sisters.
