B. W. Goodrich, 78, Was Adaville Farmer, Ran General Store

B.W. Goodrich, 78, former Adaville farmer, died Sunday, April 3, at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Violet Bradstreet in Sioux City after a long illness.

Funeral services were Tuesday at the First Assembly of God Church, Sioux City. Rev. Kenneth D. Baker officiated. Burial was in the Adaville Cemetery.

Mr. Goodrich was born Dec. 29, 1876, in Wisconsin. He moved with his parents to Frankfort, S.D., where he lived until 1907 when he moved to Plymouth County. He farmed near Adaville for many years, later operating a general store there.

He moved to Sioux City and was employed by the city there until his retirement 10 years ago.

Survivors are four daughters, Mrs. Lois Jeffries of Reno, Nev., and Mrs. Arlus Banes, Mrs. Cleva Nelson and Mrs. Bradstreet, all of Sioux City; two sons, Marlys of Merrill, and Archie of Sioux City; four brothers, John of Monango, N. D., Charles and Orville, both of Banks, Ore., and Roy of Spearfish, S. D.; three sisters, Mrs. Edith Stedman of Watertown, S. D., Mrs. Onie Valder of Frankfort, S. D., and Mrs. Faye Stiles of Rosemead, Cal., 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
