Mrs. Bertha Taylor Died Saturday At Her Home In Merrill
Mrs. Bertha Taylor died Saturday at her home in Merrill following a long illness.
Bertha Mae Taylor was born April 3, 1883, at Defiance, Iowa, and was married March 24, 1920 at the Adaville parsonage to William George Taylor who preceded her in death. They farmed west of Merrill for many years and Mrs. Taylor moved to Merrill after the death of her husband, 20 years ago.
Survivors include a son, Wesley, of Merrill and two daughters, Mrs. Julius Yankovich of Sioux City and Mrs. John Halverson of Detroit Lakes, Minn., two brothers, Alonzo Ott of Portland, Oregon, and Cary B. Ott of Randolph, Iowa, a sister, Mrs. Georgia Lemko of Fort Benton, Mont., and a granddaughter.
Funeral services at the Merrill Methodist church at 2 p. m. Tuesday will be conducted by Rev. W. C. Smith, and burial will be in Adaville Cemetery in charge of the Mauer Funeral Home
