MRS. WM. SCHUETTE FUNERAL HELD AT CRAIG CHURCH

Funeral services for Mrs. William Schuette. 86, who died at home in Le Mars Friday night after a year's illness, were at 2 p. m. Monday at St. John Lutheran church. Craig. Rev. Dennis D. Mueller officiated. Burial was in Pleasant Hill cemetery. Ireton. under direction of the Mauer funeral home.

Mrs. Schuette, the former Anna Eilers, was born Nov. 24, 1878, at Mount Olive, Illinois. She was married to William Schuette on March 18, 1900, at Ulm, Ark. She lived in Craig for the past 37 years. For the last three years she has lived with a daughter, Mrs. Lowell Marbach.

Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Carl Pageler and Mrs. Glenn House, both of Canoga Park, Calif., and Mrs. Lowell Marbach of Le Mars; five sons, Emil of Struble, Walter of Arietta, Calif., Ernest of Craig, Elmer of Merrill; and Fred of Ireton; a sister, Mrs. Charles Bultman of Hawarden; four brothers, Louis Eilers of Missouri Valley; John R. Eilers of Le Mars; Henry Eilers of Craig and William Eilers of Hawarden; 24 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gerhard and Lena Anton Eilers; her husband; a son, Paul; and five step-sons, and five grandchildren.

Mrs. Schuette was a member of St. John Lutheran church, Craig, and the American Lutheran church women.
