MANAHAN. In East Los Angeles, California, Monday, September 24, 1888,

Amanda, wife of B. F. Manahan, of 115 Lecouvreur street, in the 70th year of her age.

It is with deep regret that the announcement is made in this number of the death of Mrs. R. F. Manahan, which took place at the family residence, 125 Lecouvreur Street, on Monday.

Mrs. Manahan was a native of Kentucky, resided for many years in Iowa and came to California three years ago. She had been long afflicted with a pulmonary complaint which would have terminated her life long since but for the genial climate of California. She had lived to a good ripe, age, an exemplary Christian life and had the happiness to depart, surrounded by her husband, children and relatives, and fortified by the worthy reception of the last rites of her church.

Her funeral took place from the Missouri church, near the Plaza at nine o'clock this morning. East Side Champion, Los Angles, California.
