Note: Though the obituary doesn't state it her first name is Elizabeth. Her husband's obituary gives Elizabeth's maiden name of Garner.

Word was received Friday of the death of Mrs. William Waddle, a pioneer of Plymouth County, who passed away at the home of her son, Will, Jr., at Webster, S.D., on Wednesday, January 23, 1935. The body was brought to Plymouth County for burial in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery at Adaville, where the other deceased members of the Waddle family rest.

Her daughter, Mrs. Nellie Kanago; three of her sons, Ed., William and Fred, and a granddaughter, Una Grebner, accompanied the remains to their last resting place. The granddaughter is the daughter of the former Laura Waddle and was brought up by her grandmother upon the death of her mother a number of years ago.

Members of the Waddle family called upon friends in Afron on their return trip to Webster, S.D.
