John F. Plueger, 82 , Le Mars, died Friday (April 5, 1974) at Floyd Valley hospital after a lengthy illness. He was a retired farmer and lived at 121 Fourth Ave. SW, Le Mars. Funeral services were held Monday at 1:30 p. m. at St. John Lutheran church in Craig. Rev. O.K. Anderson officiated and burial was in the church cemetery under direction of the Mauer funeral home.

He was born Nov. 9,1891 in Grant township, Plymouth county, the son of Carl and Marie Albers Plueger. His marriage to Anna Kleihauer took place Dec. 19, 1940 in Grant township. The couple farmed near Craig until retiring to Le Mars in 1954. He was a member of St. John church at Craig.

Survivors are his wife, Anna. Le Mars; a sister, Mrs. Katherine Baack, Le Mars, and nieces and nephews.
