HENRY BRABANDER, 69, DIES UNEXPECTEDLY; SET RITES TUESDAY
Funeral services for Henry J. Brabander, 69, who died unexpectedly Friday at Sacred Heart hospital after suffering a heart attack will be held Tuesday at 2 p. m. at St. John American Lutheran church in Le Mars.
Mr. Brabander, a lifelong resident of this vicinity, was born Oct. 16, 1895, in Le, Mars. He married Emma Eilts May 19, 1920, in Le Mars. His parents were the late Louise Prust Brabander and Gert Brabander. He was a retired farmer.
He was a member of St. John church; a veteran of world war 1; a member of Last Man's club, and American Legion.
Survivors are his widow, Emma, Le Mars; a son, Wallace, Le Mars; a daughter, Mrs. Lyle (Marian) Pratt, Moville; four grandchildren; a brother, John Brabander in California, and two sisters, Mrs. Clara Ludwigs and Mrs. Anna Renken both of Le Mars.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Louis, and a sister, Tena Mieras, and a son and a daughter in infancy
