Bristow, Lousia 1822 - 1902

Note: Her first name was Lousia and she was born in 1822.

Grandma Bristow died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Chas, Brown near Adaville, last Thursday night March 6, at the age of nearly 80 years.

She was mother of seven children, three still living. Mrs. Chas, Brown, Henry Bristow of Adaville and Edward Bristow of Sioux City and a number of grandchildren. The funeral was held Sunday afternoon and the remains laid to rest in the Adaville Cemetery beside those of her husband who died twelve years ago.

Grandma Bristow, of Adaville, died on the 6th inst, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Chas. Brown, aged nearly eighty years.

Three children survive Mrs. Chas. Brown and Henry Bristow, of Adaville and Edwin Bristow of Sioux City.

The funeral was held Sunday. Interment was made in the Adaville cemetery, beside her busband, who died twelve years ago.

Louisa was the daughter of William and Louisa (Stokes) Hayward. She married Henry Bristow in 1843 in Deal, Kent, England.

They were the parents of Rebecca, William, Henry, Louisa, Edward, Clara and Edith.

She was preceded in death by her husband and four children.

She was survived by her sons, Henry, Louisa, Edward and Edith.
