Mr. and Mrs. Leander Peterson, of Kadoka, S. D., mourn the loss of their little daughter, Joyce Lucille, born May 26, 1930, who passed away Friday, March 2, 1934, of septicemia following scarlet fever.
Left to mourn are the parents and two brothers and one sister, Harvey, Ivan and Ellen, and numerous other, relatives.
Mr. Peterson accompanied the body, to Adaville and services were held Monday morning at the grave in Adaville Cemetery, conducted by Rev. N. A. Hollingshead. Mrs. Axel Johnson and Mrs. Eric Pearson, cousins of the child, sang a duet.
The family is well known in this vicinity, and their many friends sympathize, with them in their
loss, which is doubly felt because of the illness of the other children and the strict quarantine which deprived the family of the comfort of the usual church service.Akron Register Tribune, pg. 1
