Had Been Living In Santa MonicaGeorge Robertson of Santa Monicandied Thursday, June 29, after a illness of several months.
George Robertson was born in Scotland, February 29, 1876, and came to this country when a young man. He worked for John Johnson on a farm near Ruble until he was married. He was married to Mary Tindall In February, 1905, and they lived on a farm south of Ruble. Several years ago they moved to Lemmon, S.D. and then to Santa Monica.
He is survived by his wife, and one son Tindall Robertson, of Detroit, Mich., and four grandchildren. A son Herbert, died May 1, 1935.
Funeral Service were held Saturday afternoon at Santa Monica and interment was in the Woodlawn Cemetery.

Le Mars, IowaFAMILY NOTE: George Robertson was originally buried in California, as this obituary indicates. Later his remains were brought back to Iowa and buried at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, near Adaville, next to his wife, Mary Tindall Robertson.
