Parker, Josephine Sophia 1876 - 1915

Note: The gravestone says Josephine S. Parker so I think the middle name is Sophia.

Mrs. Parker, wife of Wenzel Parker, died at six o'clock yesterday-morning, at her home near Adaville. Death was due to tuberculosis from which she had been a sufferer for some time.

Mrs. Parker was thirty-eight years and six months old and had lived in Plymouth County all her life. Her maiden name was Sophia Josephine Hauser and she was born in Johnson Township her parents being pioneer settlers in that district.

Those left to mourn the death her husband and children and a large circle of relatives. The funeral will be held on Saturday afternoon at the United Brethren Church near Adaville.

A large number from here attended the funeral of Mrs. Wenzel Parker at Adaville on Saturday afternoon. Mrs. Parker, whose maiden name was Josephine Hauser, was born and raised
here.

She is well remembered by former schoolmates and friends who extend their sympathy to the bereaved family. Mr. and Mrs. John Hauser and Percy Hauser. Mr. and Mrs. Godfrey. Hauser and Mrs. John Backeberg, all of Salem, S. D„ and all of whom used to live here, were down to attend the funeral.
