Marilyn Kleihauer, 60, of Le Mars, died Tuesday (Dec. 5, 1989) in Floyd Valley hospital in Le Mars, after a long illness. Services were held at 1:30 Friday in Christ Lutheran church, rural Le Mars. Rev. Jack Hebard officiated. Burial was in the Christ Lutheran cemetery under direction of Mauer-Johnson funeral home in Le Mars.
Mrs. Kleihauer was born March 30, 1929, in Le Mars, daughter of Dewey C. and Lucille (Zink) Driscoll.
She married Otto Kleihauer April 10, 1949, in Le Mars. She was a homemaker. She was a lifelong Plymouth county resident. She was a longtime member of Christ Lutheran church where she taught Sunday school and was a member of the choir. She was member of Hope circle of the Women of the ELCA.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Susan and her husband, Kenneth Orban of Le Mars; four grandsons, Brian, Eric, Adam and Joel; her mother, Lucille Mortensen of Le Mars and a brother, Jim Driscoll of Le Mars. She was preceded in death by her father.
