Dennis S. Lofshult, 44, of rural Sioux City, Iowa, passed away unexpectedly Friday, November 23, 2007 at his residence.
There will be no services. The body will be cremated. Arrangements are under the direction of the Carlsen Funeral Home – Schroeder Chapel in Akron.
Dennis Scott Lofshult was born June 4, 1963 in Sioux City, Iowa, the son of William and Shirley (Anderson) Lofshult. He attended school in South Sioux City, Nebraska. Dennis worked various jobs in the Sioux City area.
Dennis enjoyed the simple things in life. He loved motorcycles, working on them and riding them. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include his mother, Shirley Lofshult of Beatrice, NE; 3 brothers: Thomas Richards and his wife Eva of Littleton, CO, Steven Lofshult of Westminster, CO, and David Lofshult of Denver, CO; 4 Nephews and 4 Nieces.
He was preceded in death by his father; 2 sisters: Susan DeMent and Wilma Bennash; and his special friend: Mary Newton.
