Died On Friday March 2, 1883, Clement Welter aged 84 years.

The deceased came to Le Mars some ten years ago, and engaged in the saloon business In which he accumulated handsome competency. He was a peaceable citizen, and generally respected for his business qualities.

He leaves a wife and child to mourn his departure.
