Minnie J. Huebner

Minnie J. Huebner, 94, of Akron died Monday, April 26, 2004 at the Akron City Convalescent Care Center.

Funeral services were held April 30 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Akron with the Rev. Jean Morse officiating.

Pallbearers were Dan Jones, Devin Jones, Chad Jones, David Jones, Clint Otten and Aaron Otten. Honorary pallbearers were her granddaughters and great-granddaugh-

Mrs. Huebner was born January 10, 1910 in rural Plymouth County, near Chatsworth, the daughter of Gerritt and Marie (Borchers) Ludwigs. She attended the Chatsworth School. She was raised around the Akron, Chatsworth and Westfield areas and moved to Minnesota in 1957. She returned in 1968 and had lived around the Akron area ever since. She married Albert Huebner on October 3, 1928 innChatsworth. The couple farmed around Akron for many years. Mr. Huebner died February 15, 1979.

Mrs. Huebner was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Chatsworth before transferring to Trinity Lutheran Church where she was a member of the ALCW Circle, the Golden Age Group and Ladies Pinochle Club.

Survivors include a daughter and her husband, Donna and Duane Jones of Westfield; a son and his wife, Calvin and Jo Huebner of Tahlequah, OK; a sister, Gertrude Fluck of New London, MN; two sisters-in-law, Doris Ludwigs of Le Mars and Bernice Ludwigs of Lancaster, CA; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three great-greatgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by four brothers, Clarence, Henry, Gerd and John Ludwigs; arid three sisters, Anna Ludwigs, Etta Kluver and Amanda Bultman.
